The EH81 AirHog separator is equipped with an 11kW variable speed fan featuring heavy-duty steel blades for precise air and density separation. It includes a 300mm diameter in-line inlet pipe and offers an optional galvanized steel bend for a perpendicular outlet. Adjustable suction hoods, available in 750mm or 900mm widths, are designed to fit over conveyors with manual height adjustment and a slim profile to maximize suction efficiency. Lightweight materials are expelled through 5 meters of flexible ducting. The sturdy frame incorporates a checker plate stand, forklift pockets, and lifting eyes for easy handling. Control features include a variable speed drive for the fan, an emergency stop, and a power ON/OFF switch, powered by a 480V 3-phase motor compatible with mains or generator power. The AirHog EH-81 is engineered to extract low-value lightweight materials such as paper, plastics, and foil from compost, wood, and other waste streams. Its frequency-controlled heavy-duty fan, air hose, and extraction hood are positioned over a moving conveyor belt, directing light materials into a detachable sack or bin while allowing denser materials to continue along the conveyor. This standalone unit includes forklift and crane lifting points for convenient relocation and can be customized to integrate with any conveyor system.
